I support Barack because he is the only candidate that will bring the change we need. I dont buy into that BS that McCain is feeding half of America. If he agreed with Bush on 90% of our issues, then there is no "change" with that candidate that we could use or need. We also need somebody who can bring people together, no matter what party, ethnicity, race, religion, etc. When Barack went to Europe, he drew an insanely huge amount of people. Not only does the other half of the US want him as our president, but so does a good part of the rest of the world. And through the way that he is able to bring people together he will help bring the US back into touch with reality and help the US's relationship with other nations. And if we can have a president that can connect with not only the people of our nation but with the people of other nations as well, then that, my friends, is the kind of president we need. Barack Obama will be that kind of president. ....Plus he knows who to speak intelligently.....

Why I support Barack Obama: For the first time I truly relate to, respect and feel inspired by a candidate. America is not heading in a direction I can feel proud of and Senator Obama will set us on a better course. He has proven to me that he means what he says and says what he means which has inspired me-compelled me- to help get this man in office.

Obama has the smarts, the strength and charisma to bring this country back from the brink of self-destruction.

Voter registrant extraordinaire. Matt Jimenez has been targeting Spanish Springs, Sparks and Reno. As Matt puts it, "Billy, there is NOTHING more fulfilling than registering: the poor, the disenfranchised and those of color."

In the early days of RENObama!, sometimes the Republican members outnumbered the Democrats at those early meetings. With this newest Republican member, we hope the floodgates open!

Why I support Barack Obama: As a lifetime member of the RNC, and a loyal Reagan Republican, I believe that the historical ideals of the Republican Party have been corrupted by the far right. When the politics of division become more important than inclusion; when abortion, gay marriage and stem cell research become the defining issues of a party; when political scare tactics replace the vision of leadership - it is time for change!

I admittedly do not agree with every position taken by Barack, but I have personally concluded that he is the best candidate to facilitate the honest dialog and real change that this country both deserves and increasingly demands. He, more than any other candidate, is capable of bridging the disparate interests that have sadly divided us as a nation ... and a house divided will inevitably fail.

We, as Americans, need to recognize the value of diversity and the importance of unity. We have sadly lost our way over the past eight years and we need a leader to help guide us back to the very ideals that made America great. It is time for compromise and transformation - it is time for real change - it is time to elect a new leader for challenging times - it is time for Barack Obama!
